Happy and hydrated!

This water bottle refill station might seem sort of silly, but when you’re out and about all day and trying to avoid bottled water, it can really make your day!

Filling your bottle at a regular water fountain is tricky, because you have to tilt it to get it under the stream of water. That means you can really only fill your bottle about 2/3 of the way. Plus, it seems like fewer places offer water fountains, since bottled water has gotten more and more popular.

I know, you could just find a bathroom sink, but it was so nice to be able to fill up my water without ducking into a restaurant or store to use their bathroom. So many places only let customers use the facilities that it can be hard to keep your water bottle topped off when you’re out and about, especially if you’re on a budget and can’t afford to be a customer every time you’re thirsty.

In the Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco, we were able to refill our reusable bottles at this nifty refilling station. This handy station lets you hold your bottle upright, so that you can fill it up all the way! Yay!
