		<description>I think that even a good forum is too late for many people.  The Titanic is about to hit the iceberg, and we are discussing whether to buy more buckets to help bail it out.

I don&#039;t know.  Dereck Jensen has a good analogy - we are like protestors sending petitions to Darth Vader to stop him from destroying our planet.  Only experiencing the catastrophe in the wealthy world will make a serious dent in our own comfort levels.  By then, it will be very late, but eventually I suppose it will get turned around, after some ghastly decades or a century or two.</description>
