Water in the Anthropocene

“We live in an increasingly water insecure world where demand often outstrips supply and where water quality often fails to meet minimum standards. Under current trends, future demands for water will not be met,” said UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

The water cycle has been significantly affected by human activity, along with nearly every other part of the natural world. Water in the Anthropocene is a three minute video showing this global impact by humans.
