Water Rich vs Water Poor

The difference in lifestyles between the water rich and the water poor can be astounding.  This infographic from Seametrics highlights several differences.

For instance, a one-liter bottle of water takes five liters of water to make.  Five liters is half of a day’s allotment of water for the average African.

The global bottled water industry makes approximately $66 billion.  The estimated cost to provide everyone on earth with access to clean water is less than half that – approximately $30 billion.
