Sahara Forest: A Man-Made Oasis in Qatar
A 10,000 square meter (about 108,000 sq ft) man-made oasis will open in Qatar soon.
The oasis has seawater based greenhouses and uses solar power to move water to plants and also to circulate air.
Don’t worry too much about the name “Sahara Forest”. It seems the developers borrowed a page from the namers of American subdivisions.
