Kiribati Is Gone

Kiribati Is Gone by Ciril JazbecPhotographer Ciril Jazbec went to Kiribati last year to see for himself the effects of rising sea levels.  The result of his trip is a stunning gallery of photographs.

Many of the people of Kiribati have had to move to New Zealand and Australia because the sea level has risen enough to flood parts of the island and make other parts too saline to grow food or trees.

The photo gallery is at Jazbec’s site, The End:  Kiribati Is Gone.
