Water Use Quick Tip: Reusing Water in Your Home

water use quick tipreusing water

Not everyone can afford a fancy greywater system, but that doesn’t mean you can’t reuse water in small ways around the house!

While the shower water heats up, for example, you can collect the cold water in a bucket and use it to water your plants. You can do the same with water from washing veggies or boiling pasta. Just make sure you let the pasta water cool completely – you don’t want to harm your plants!
