The film’s thesis is summed up on its website, which states: ‘Wars of the future will be fought over water, as they are over oil today, as our Blue Gold, the source of human survival, enters the global marketplace and political arena as a commodity to be sought out, fought over, and conquered…”. Numerous examples of the struggle for basic water rights across the globe are featured throughout the film.

The DVD is planned for release in the US and Canada on April 7, 2009. In the meantime, you can check out a review of the film over at GreenMuze.
